Sewing Sisters

Sisters are great. Aren't they? God blessed me with one by birth and one by marriage. Brooke and I are sisters via two wonderful husbands, and we now share this love of sewing. Check out this amazing baby bag she made for me a while back.

These adorable pants are her latest creation. I simply can't wait to see them on Avery.

Here is a little of what I've been working on. I only wish my photography could be half as good as Brooke's.

I can only show a sneak peak of this outfit, because there is one for a certain April birthday girl.

  2. I saw your link on the tutorial for the sleeve ruffles and wanted to ask if you made them the exact size stated on JonaG's blog. I was thinking of making them a little narrower (like cutting the fabric 6" wide instead of 7"). Did you post a final picture of this dress?

  3. Tiffani,
Thanks for asking. I did reduce Jona's pattern quite a bit for my 18-24 mo size. My pattern was 9.5" long and 2.25" wide (on the fold). I could scan my pattern and send it to you if you send me an email address. I hope this helps. I don't have a great final picture, but there are some here http://sweeterthancupcakes.blogspot.com/2009/04/party-time.html
