Sweet Dreams

I made these wide-leg lounge pants for my Mom for her upcoming birthday. The pattern is from Amy Butler's book "In Stitches". I had to give the pants to my Mom a little early because I knew they would need some adjusting. The pattern indicates the inseam to be 32" which is my inseam length, so I adjusted the hem accordingly for my Mom. When I tried them on, the length was still perfect for me. Unfortunately, when I redid the hem the lace ended up right on the bottom of the pants, but they still look okay.
I ordered the fabric and lace from my favorite online shop, Fabritopia. The lace is her gorgeous green lace, and I think it is fabulous. I ordered some of the hot pink lace in my last purchase, and she has tempted me by including swatches of the yellow and purple.

  1. I've heard about this AB pattern, the pants look fabulous! I love the fabric and the lace is the perfect finish. Do you know if you can get the pattern but not the whole book?

  2. Thank you so much. No, I don't think you will be able to get the pattern seperate. It is a good book though. I have seen several tutorials online where they used pants you already have to create a pattern. I would search for pajama pants tutorials to find something. Let me know if I can help any other way.
