Sew Pleased

I have to admit that this outfit makes me giddy. I'm loving the way it turned out. My sewing techniques could definitely be improved, so up close inspection is not advised. But, the overall look makes me smile. The top is Portabellopixie's Gracie Reversible Jumper. I used the tutorial from Little Girl Pearl for revising the round collar. I think this is a great way to put together the top, but my blind stitching on the curve sure needs some improvement. The construction of Amy Butler's Anna tunic is very similar, but for some reason I had a harder time sewing this one together. I did a bit of applique on the reverse side.

This is my first attempt at a series of buttonholes. It was quite a learning experience.

The fabrics are from Patty Young and Jennifer Paganelli.
