Fall Decor

I did a little quick fall decorating last week. So many commented on how much fun it will be having the mantel to decorate for the holidays. Well, you were right. The owls are my favorite part.

There is nothing like decorating with free stuff from nature. The branches, pine cones, and chestnuts all came from our yard. Have you ever seen a chestnut tree? The chestnuts eventually pop out of these crazy spiky balls that fall to the ground. Word of advice, do not gather chestnuts in flip flops. OUCH!

I do need a fall tablecloth or runner, but this will have to do for now.
