Snap Shop 2013 Class

Wednesday, September 25, 2013

Some of what has taken me away from sewing lately is working on my photography through an online course. The course is called Snap Shop and is taught by the lovely Ashley Ann of Under the Sycamore. She has always captivated me with her awesome DIY skills, Christian family values, adoption story, and beautiful photos. Her photography and course focus on her amazing talent of telling a story with her photos. I’m hoping I can also translate some of this when I try to photograph specifically for the clothing I’ve created, but that remains to be seen. I thought I’d share a few of the “stories” I’ve tried to capture over the past week. Please don’t let my lack of talent reflect pourly in any way on Ashley Ann. This is a work in progress!

For the record, that is not beer, or even soda for that matter. Please, no hate mail!

  1. It looks like you have a similar IKEA bed frame and lavender painted walls just like in my daughter's room! http://www.nestfullofeggs.blogspot.com/2013/09/playtime-dress.html
