NYC for the Sewist

Thursday, March 4, 2010

Todd was kind enough to accompany me to 3 sewing type stores on our trip. Purl Soho was a bit out of our way and not quite what I expected, but the storefront was adorable.
M&J Trimming was by far my favorite. On the other side of this massive wall of ribbon is a massive wall of buttons. I purchased a nice little baggy with a few of my favorite buttons. It was super hard to choose and I tried to hurry so as not to test Todd's patience too much. He was a great help though.
Next up was Tinsel Trading Company. This was seriously a beautiful shop from the wonderful flowers to felt appliques to every shade of ribbon.
We could not stop thanking God for such a wonderful opportunity during our trip. What a blessing it was to be able to do something like this financially, somewhat spontaneously, and child free.
