Something for Summer

We're headed for Texas where the temperatures have already tipped over 90 degrees, so I'm packing this little outfit to bring along. I found the easiest pattern in my non-english Bizzkids summer edition to test out. The skirt is pattern number 3424.



I love the pleated details on the side panels. Thank goodness for the little arrows on the pattern pieces or I may have been lost.



The Brooklyn tank pattern is from the book Sewing Clothes Kids Love. I finally tried out some fun stitching with my new machine on the front and back trim.
