Picnic Blanket for Sister
Friday, May 13, 2011
I finally have a sewing project to post about! My sister found a tutorial for a lined picnic blanket over at Centsational Girl a while back and made a request for one. Well, I finally managed to put this together for her birthday. The process was a bit of a struggle for me since this is the closest I've ever come to quilting. If you held up a straight edge anywhere along the perimeter, nothing would line up (mostly due to a wonky table pad), but I think the result will serve its purpose. I sure hope it gets put to good use!
