Babba Box Review

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

Babba Co. contacted me wondering if Avery and I would be interested in reviewing one of their theme-based boxes. I jumped at the opportunity because I think the concept of the companies that have started this trend is genius! The process is simple: you sign up, a monthly box filled with creative goodies comes to your door, and you open it up and let the fun begin.

The box we received was themed around “The Way I Feel.”

Each box contains all the supplies needed to complete each activity. The children are encouraged to create, explore, story tell, and connect through the activities provided.

Avery was eager to try out the magnet making first. She was to color the provided faces with various expressions on them, cut them out, and apply a magnet strip.

I think she had the most fun creating the sock puppets to act out and express herself.

There were even “spy” glasses and a journal with stickers for kids to observe and record feeling they see expressed throughout the day.

A sweet book about caring and treating others as you would want to be treated rounded out the contents of our box.

We love crafting and creating in our house, so this type of product really fits in well. As a busy mom, it is often hard to come up with creative activities each day, much less collect all of the supplies needed. Having something with several days worth of activities delivered to your door, sure makes things nice!

The membership runs $29.99 per month. A fantastic option is provided for gift memberships. You can sign up to gift 1, 3, or 12 month packages to a child. What a sweet way to make a gift last a little longer! Lucky Sweeter Than Cupcakes readers have the opportunity to use the coupon code STCC20OFF for 20% off a gift or subscription! Check it all out here. Thanks Babba Co.!
