Friday’s evil was piercing. In addition to the shootings in Connecticut there was a police officer (a mother of 4) killed in Memphis while issuing a narcotics related warrant. It all hits so close to home, and we all can feel a small piece of the pain that so many are suffering from. I am always reminded of the presence of evil around us, and I must cling to the knowledge that there is one constant that also remains. GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD. Our security and hope for the better world that is to come can only be found in Him. As I wait for His time, I must accept the evil He allows due to our sin and appreciate the beauty he gives in the meantime.
