I had a special request for a birthday set for a friend’s little boy who’s turning one very soon. So, here’s our little man outfit complete with applique tie. I used a slightly modified version of the pants pattern from Amy Butler's Little Stitches book and Riley Blake’s Chevrons.
My friend wanted to try to incorporate this Happy Ever After print into Big Sis’s dress. Even though Riley Blake printed both fabrics, I was nervous about the colors matching. This was one of those times that an iffy online order worked out perfect!! I even added in a little Michael Miller Ta Dot for more fun.
I used the same method for the sleeve construction as my contrasting ruffled sleeve tutorial.
