It totally wasn't planned this way, but as I cooked shepherd's pie for dinner tonight, it brought out some great discussions from Avery about the Shepherd's roll at Christ's birth on Christmas. It was a great jumping off point as we start Advent. Here are the recipes we enjoyed this evening.
