It’s candy inspiration week over at Project Run & Play. We love just about every form of sugar in our house, so it was hard to narrow it down to a favorite. Sweetarts eventually won out.
I originally had all kinds of ideas about incorporating purple over the shoulder or for the cowl and adding a lime green pocket. In the end, I went with a simple color block. I knew this was a look we would both love for the long term, not just for candy week.
The pattern is Heidi & Finn’s cowl neck jumper dress with a Chez Ami turquoise interlock and a hot pink velour. I think the combination of her shrugging her shoulders and the angle I took the photo makes the dress look too short. It is actually the perfect length now, but I guess this means she’ll be needing leggings with is soon.
She was all smiles when she finally got to dig in!
