Our Texas visits get better and better each year the girls get older (especially when Mommy is flying solo with the little ones.) My parents ranch is like a retreat for my kids with plenty of room to roam. It’s also close enough to San Antonio for me to work in some serious shopping! When it comes to the ranch Avery wants to be outdoors at all times!
The girls managed tons of play time with cousin Ford. (Annie too, but I’m saving a photo of her for later.)

Feeding the cows is where it’s at! On the way back from a library trip with Omie, Avery placed a call to Opa to make sure he waited for her to feed the cow. She takes her job very seriously!
Avery has also become quite a fan of shopping. Of course, it helps if it involves a new pair of boots! Thankfully a few bluebonnets made an appearance just for us!
We can’t thank Omie and Opa enough for the great adventure and superb care! We’ll be back soon!
