New Favorite Gift Wrap

Tuesday, July 27, 2010

My sewing machine and fabric have been packed away for a while now, but I was finally able to give my sister this shower gift the other day. Now I can tell all about it. Make It Perfect posted this great tutorial a while back for a toy sack. Not only is it great for toys, but it also serves as adorable gift packaging. Bingo! Two for one! I filled Ford's sack with lots of goodies including the awesome auntie bib you can see through the peek-a-boo window. I love this feature! (Ok, enough exclamation points for this post.) I used the same fabric as the crib bedding in Ford's room. It is Joel Dewberry's Deer Valley line.

This will be my final post from Texas. I am currently sitting on an air mattress which happens to be the only furniture in the house right now. Hopefully I'll have great things for the blog in the near future from Mississippi. I've already been planning new decorating ideas and projects, so I can't wait to get started! (Opps, there's another one.)
