I’ve sewn this jumper before, but this time I used an old sweater of my husband’s for the fabric. It is an oatmeal colored knit that is somewhere between a sweater knit and a sweatshirt fleece. It’s hard for me to identify completely, but it’s super soft.

These petite pockets get me every time!! Love!

Once again, vintage buttons were in order.

I must admit, I’m sewing and styling for fall even though we’re still experiencing summer temps here. Thankfully it was still cool the morning of these photos!

Every time I dig into my Japanese sewing books, I want to sew more! Thanks for the push to pull these books out again Shino!
Thanks so much for joining this fun :) Love the jumper and your beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute jumper! I love the simplicity of the pattern and the soft color of the fabric you picked.
ReplyDeleteOne more JSB I must buy...
oh the cuteness! Adorable jumper which you styled just right - not too over the top, but classic paired with the navy. Love that you upcycled your husband's sweater for this - so great when you can get two lives from a piece of clothing:) Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteThose are the sweetest little pockets for her cute little hands :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!!! Lovely....
ReplyDeleteMy daughter wants pockets on EVERYTHING these days--can't say I blame her! This is such a sweet jumper.
